Stephen
Director & Financial Adviser
Stephen joined Personal Investment Centre as a Financial Adviser in 2018. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with over 10 years of experience in financial services. Stephen holds both a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (Personal Financial Planning) and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree from Massey University.
Stephen combines his passion for helping clients grow and protect their wealth with a commitment to simplifying the complexities of investment, estate, and tax planning. His diverse experience, from managing a local business to working in insurance, gives him a well-rounded perspective to provide truly independent advice.
Outside of work, Stephen enjoys relaxing with his partner Karen and their two teenage children—one in their second year at Otago University and the other in Year 13 at High School. On the weekends, you’ll likely find him cycling, fitting in a round of golf or reading a book.

Karen
Practice Manager
Karen joined Personal Investment Centre in 2021, bringing her background in business and accounting to the team. She holds a New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services – Investments (Level 5) and plays a key role in managing the operational and administrative side of the business.
Karen’s attention to detail and efficiency ensure that the team has the support needed to deliver high standards across all areas of service. While her work is primarily behind the scenes, her contributions are vital to the smooth running of the practice.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys cycling, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her partner Stephen and their two teenage children.

Irene
Paraplanner/Administrator
Irene has been a valued member of Personal Investment Centre since 2020. With a strong background in financial administration, she ensures the office operates smoothly and efficiently.
As a paraplanner and administrator, Irene plays a key role in keeping the office running with her efficient and precise approach. Often the first point of contact for clients, she is integral in portfolio reviews, ensuring clients receive timely updates and all necessary details regarding their financial plans.
On weekends, Irene enjoys spending time with her husband Shaun and their two teenage children. She can often be found walking the family dog or embracing her artistic side through new creative pursuits.
